Standards Assessments & Audits

Overview

A training module that enables the quick creation, delivery and management of assessments and audits such as competency standards, business continuity preparedness assessments, supply chain audits etc, essentially any question based format that needs to be delivered and tracked over time.

Training templates allow assessments to be structured around themes with associated questions, set times, pass marks and retest rules including automated tracking of test retakes, failures and passes etc. Delivered online in a simple interactive format these are simple to create and use whilst providing a rich management reporting view.

Benefit

The ability to link assessments, audits and compliance reviews into the training and operational process delivers a much richer picture across your teams linking information into one view that would normally be within different IT systems or documentation.

Automatically tracking the results and exceptions saves significant time whilst managing the exceptions and retests is completely automated with the exception management function. For Governance and Compliance requirements, full audits and reporting exist at the click of a button allowing your teams to manage the outcomes and follow on actions, not the process.

Linking the outcomes, actions and gaps with the Task management module and dynamic risk assessment process delivers a fully integrated assessment, outcomes, actions and review process which can dynamically show the operational impact from a security, risk and resilience perspective.

Powerful stuff!

Insightful management reporting and summary graphs not only provide a comprehensive audit but support the identification of gaps and training requirements by individual, group and region, all at the click of a button no macro spreadsheets required!

Linking the results of online training, assessments, standards and competencies, into the operational front end delivery gives a much richer and accurate management view across the overall security, risk and resilience framework without having to run multiple IT systems and complex spreadsheets.

In fact for many organisations this will be the first opportunity to truly link the training, assessments and exercise process directly into the operational picture to deliver a much more responsive and focussed programme whilst delivering dramatic time and cost savings.

Exercise Management & Delivery

Overview

A web based exercise design; delivery and reporting tool that provides a comprehensive exercise management capability for both exercise participants and exercise managers. The exercise management tool provides simple but powerful Master Events List (MEL) that allows the exercise manager to create interactive information injects and associate expected outcomes of the participants to these injects. This allows the outcomes to be clicked and a pie chart summary displayed to the manager, quickly showing how many of the overall expected outcomes were achieved.

A built in “Post Exercise Report” tool automatically takes the exercise administration instructions, all exercise responses and associated expected outcomes and comments from the syndicate managers, and presents this in a clear and comprehensive report format with additional summary fields that can be completed by the exercise owner.

This saves days of work in collating and analysing syndicate responses and actions for the management post exercise report. Over a time, a comprehensive library of exercises can be created and shared across the organisation.

Reusing exercises is achieved at the click of a button and allows the copied exercise to be tailored for the new delivery environment whilst saving significant time from not having to start from scratch The exercise participant has a much richer experience due to the web based delivery injects can contain not only text and images but audio and video as well as associated internal documents and files that might support the participant in responding to the injects.

Additionally features such as decision support matrix can added that provides a decision framework for participants to think and respond to the information received. All of the participant’s actions within the system are automatically captured and associated to each inject creating a chronological audit of exercise injects and responses to help the exercise assessment process The exercise tool can be an exact mirror of the ISAR operational tools so participants train on the same system they use on a daily basis, providing systems training and familiarity at the same time as valuable exercise lessons.

Benefit

The time savings achieved through the creation of a shared MEL and the automated reporting runs into weeks when compared to the traditional approach to exercise writing and reporting. Delivering exercises over the web shows significant cost savings (around 80% saving compared to traditional exercise costs) as well as providing a richer exercise experience.

Countries, regions and individuals can be exercised simultaneously within the virtual space as well as with key teams within a live syndicate environment, accurately reflecting the disparate and virtual nature of many crisis response scenarios.

A rich reusable exercise library saves a lot of time and effort, reducing the impact of exercising on teams and departments, and enabling them to exercise when previously they may well have been unable to. This has a demonstrable impact on improving security and resilience.

The virtual capability means that even partners and key suppliers can have some level of participation, not only providing the ability to exercise the complete supply chain all from the individual’s desk, but also supporting existing business continuity requirements and audits in a hugely cost effective way.
